The Slayden Road Project will add a side walk on the south side of Slayden Road from State Route 509 up to Browns Point Elementary School. Funding for the project required contributions from a variety of sources.

The NE Tacoma Neighborhood Council is working with the City on a variety of other projects like Phase II & III of the Norpoint Extension Northshore Parkway, Brown Point Blvd, 33rd Street and the Hylebos Bridge.
